ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #1 Posted February 16, 2020 We decided this year to plant a garden. So my oldest son and I laid out where we want it, and spent the better part of the morning digging up rocks. I've got a new dump cart ordered, but it won't be here for a few days and he was getting impatient wanting to haul off the rocks we dug up. So with a little help from the 753 and an old bathtub we had laying around we got it done. 6 4 1

As hard as the ground is out here that might be my next option 4 minutes ago, Digger 66 said: Shouldn't that be a PBR on the hood ? Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #5 Posted February 16, 2020 Cast iron tub? If so that’s pretty impressive to drag that loaded with rocks
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #6 Posted February 16, 2020 Wow looks pretty flat where you are. Only thing I can do here is container gardening! what if any are you adding to the soil to build up the pH balance?

If so that’s pretty impressive to drag that loaded with rocks The tub itself isn't very heavy...I drug it up out of the weeds by hand to be able to hook the chain to it. But after filling it full of rocks it became quite heavy, but the little 753 just chugged right along in first gear with no problems. Only place I ran into a problem was when I got in the sand down on the back side of my pasture. But i was close enough to where i planned on unloading them that it wasnt a big deal. Had actually planned on using the C125 and dont think I would've had any trouble at all, but the battery was dead and didn't have my jumper cables handy. 12 minutes ago, The Tool Crib said: Wow looks pretty flat where you are. After I get it all broken up I'm going to take some samples and have them tested, then make a plan from there 1

I would have to use ramps on my raised beds.
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #9 Posted February 17, 2020 Only thing I can do is to jump on a different tractor to mow the yard with and watch my garden grow!!
SylvanLakeWH 25,490 #10 Posted February 17, 2020 Gives new meaning to a “tub cart”... Maybe just put a tongue and some wheels on it, paint it red and keep it working... 1
