Dr.D 9 #1 Posted February 14, 2020 Stupid question, I am new and working up the nerve to rebuild my 5025 trans. I been studying the posts. Does 5025 use a gasket for the case? I don’t see one referenced.

Dr.D 9 #5 Posted February 14, 2020 (edited) Thank you... Yup... I went through the Tans parts list line by line and finally saw it. Part #3912 Toro lists it for $7.95 I was surprised to find how many parts Toro still lists. Any thoughts about updating with new guide rails? Are the rails the only parts necessary to swap in? Excellent idea while you have it apart. You will need the rails and the shift stop pin. The newer pin is Park #5614. That will allow the benefit you get with the updated rails. The spring and balls are the same.
