chex313 123 #26 Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) Any advice for the bushing I got to repair this? I was going to put both on the shaft...but than I may have to cut the far bushing down so the c-clip fits on. So I thought I could put the c-clip side in the other way. Anyone see a problem with that? EDIT: Okay, the second pic does not work, the shaft is not long enough to accommodate the bushing collars on both sides. It will have be cut done to a sliver just wider than the metal hole... and inserted with the shaft. Or maybe just add 1/2" washers? 2nd EDIT: Had to drill a hole behind the bushing collar to hold it in place with a washer and hairpin. The cut down bushing does not fit well enough in the worn out shaft. Cleat's drawing will work best for me, the shaft needs to be a half inch longer, than the bushing can be inserted from the outside and the clip can be used (Or a hairpin). Also do I want to grease the shaft and the top of the bushing that sits in the hole? Edited June 14, 2020 by chex313
