WHX??

This probably belongs in the tools/equipment section but I don't care ain't often I come up with a good idea these days! Mods can move it they like..

Rescued this old cart out of Dad's garage... it has casters on it... anybody care to guess what it to be used for? Title of this section is a clue.

Couple of strategically placed holes and some tearoff cardboard for easy clean up.

I have the same two hole layout on my transmission work table, one for the input shaft and one for the axle.    :text-bravo:

I haven't even got the table....

Thought about building one a time or two but haven't got to it yet...

I do like your diff holder.

I just use a block of wood and a fair pile of patience.

What's nice is the casters & your waiting for bearings to show up just roll it out of the way. Need to come up with some storage containers for extra bearings, seals, dog points etc. For the first shelf. .. spare trannys going on the middle shelf. Got tired  of clamping them in a vise... very unstable and almost lost the whole shebang once.

So does this mean that you will have tranny ready for paint next weekend??? :) You can even put it back together, I'll paint it as an assembly, that way you don't have to worry about scratching it.

I want you guys to know I just showed this to Trina.

I showed her the title of the thread.

Guess What This Is....

She says to me "It's clearly a table with holes."

I had no argument.

She won.

Very nice! :bow-blue:

I too have several work tables with holes in them...

Though, mine are from drilling through projects to far and leaving holes in the table surface...
