These new knobs are precision machined from a solid piece of aluminum, not cast or molded with an insert that can break out. Each piece is then professionally finished using PPG automotive refinish products. They fit and function just like the originals and look nearly identical. My parking brake lever is a square shaft sticking up so I am not sure how this would fit with the lever I have? I'm attaching pics of what I have in hopes you can help me. c-series don 8,677 #12 Posted April 26, 2023 @BobBelcher Bob the parking brake should be easy to set. If the brake band is too tight and you have to mash the pedal down to set it try backing off on it a touch. A couple of turns with a 9/16” wrench may do it. It’s located behind the foot rest and in front of the rear wheel on the left side. Also if the spring is broken on the little lock lever it may not want to release.
