I can easily see myself getting into this sport of boating and off roading all in one hull!

My back and kidneys object.    I can tell you water is not soft when a boat is dropped from a few feet.   :happy-bouncyshadowgreen:

Seems another Aussie has a diy kit to build them using a Superjet propulsion system from Yamaha.  Looks easy as EdKennell Scrapple.  I haven’t tried making that yet either.  Maybe both on the same day?

So,

Besides it being, you know, fun...what implements can you get for it?

ice breaker bow?

sea weed mower?

pull tube?

clam digger?

3 point hitch for a trawling net?

high speed tree trimmer?

And most importantly, does it come in red?

They say that you don't get older & wiser, you just run out of dumb things to try. That being said, I have never tried that sport sooo....

If you build it, I really want a ride in it Kevin !! My chiropractor and doctor can put me back together afterwards :ROTF:

Kev - I've got some lakefront that you are welcome to borrow to test one of those things when you get it built. :auto-layrubber:

A friend of mine took me fishing on the Allegheny River, near Warren Pa. His neighbor had a jet boat, similar, but larger. I figured It would hold 8 people. After fishing in the morning, later that afternoon, the neighbor offered up a ride and a few beers, so off we went. Oh my, that ride was crazy! Zooming past pickup sized rocks and turning on a dime in, I figure in 8 to 10 inches of water! The ride I got was real similar to the video. We did hit bottom a few times and didn't jump any islands, but we were bobbin and weaving like a running back.  And yes, bone jarring to say the least. I was a good bit younger and kind of enjoyed it.....don't think I could survive now.
