it would be a good idea to take something sharp and pointy like a dental pick or whatever and verify that you actually do have threads inside that hole. You certainly should.

 

Okay so heat is good.

 

Decent penetrating oil is good. My best results have been with Kroil, old fashioned Liquid Wrench, or WD-40 PENETRATING fluid. Not the regular WD-40.

PATIENCE is going to be your biggest winner here.

 

Not sure of your mechanical ability or set of tools but what I would try to do is

 

Squirt that from every angle you can with penetrating fluid and let it sit for 24 to 48 hours if possible.

Find the correct SIX-sided socket for those bolts and try to TIGHTEN them just a tiny bit. See what happens.

if it moves even so much as the width of a hair, loosen it. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

 

 

I think the size of what you want is 1.25 inch npt. Maybe somebody else could verify that.

 

on the two that I did that were the similar size I used a 2 inch double male nipple out of the block. 45 degree elbow to get out from under the hood. 4 or 5 inch double male nipple and then from there it depends what you need for a hook up into the muffler. Maybe a 90?
