BobbyD218 7 #1 Posted February 1, 2020 I have a 312a with the K engine and of course the standard Eaton 7 rear end. I'm aware that the 312h is a newer model and has the better Eaton 11 pump with the hydro lift. I was just checking on Tractor Data, and noticed that the 312a outweighs the 312h, 689 to 622 lbs, a pretty significant amount. Is anyone privy as to why a 312H with a better rear end would have such a significant weight reduction? Was there any cost cutting going on in the newer model? Could these numbers be wrong? And as a side note, just went back and checked on the 312-8. That one is listed at only 553 lbs!! I know the hydros are usually a bit heavier than the gear models, but that is huge compared to the 312a. Thanks....

Used to be a user maintenance aspect to that site. If you can find an email address maybe you could inform them of the error...
