How far do you want to drive?

I replied to your p.m. earlier.

You've definitely come to a great source to try to find one.

One of us will be able to help you find something that will fit your needs very very well.

Most of new England south to pennsylvania north to Maine. I'd take a trip to the finger lake ny area. Ive looked at cubs an economy but I just keep coming back to wheel horses and how much functionality they have for the size package. And I'm not much of a mechanic but they seem to be good machines to be able to learn on. Thank you so much!

I was looking at that tractor, thinking he would price it lower if he wants to move it. Has been for sail for a while. Keep looking, our area has a lot of red tractors around, for five hundred to thousand dollars that are much more useable for what you want. Keep looking be patient you will find a solid tractor that you can put to work with out working on it. Welcome to Wheel horse addiction.

You are correct about this particular brand. They are very dependable. Very easy to repair. Very easy to maintain. That's why we have them in our acreage.

The c100 I have here would be a decent candidate for you if I got it up and running but I won't be able to mess with it until April or May and it would be great if you could find one long before then.

Keep an eye in the Pennsylvania and New York area. The prices down in that area normally are a lot less than they are in Maine and New Hampshire. But you never know...

That be the same one. I'm closer to you than I am the tractor. It has been on there for a while. Being local to where we are any other places you look for them? ive only been able to find them on craigslist that are close enough for me to get em.

Would not hurt to throw an ad in the wanted section of this very website.

@Herder . Adam, doesn't live too awful far from you. I've dealt with him a time or two and he's a great guy. He might be able to lead you in a decent direction.

I don't know what you're using for internet of course. I use an Android phone about 99% of the time. I'm rarely on a PC. The experience is very different. Get on a big screen and poke around and you'll find more stuff on Red square than you can even begin to look at in weeks...

The little RJ's are fun, I've been on the lookout for one around Maine/MA area for a while and haven't seen one with a 'real world' price yet. But I wound tend to agree they are a bit light for what you want to do..

So, opinions? Honestly, I prefer Hydros for dragging heavy loads, I find them far more controllable in the way of wheelspin.

Not to step on toes, but the old WH Charger you pictured has been posted for, no exaggeration .. over 3 years. There may be a reason for that.. I have an old 1076 and a Commando 6 that may be possibly moving down the line at some point if nothing shows up.

Welcome aboard!

With that short of a time line you my end up paying to much for a basket case. Not to much local now I think that will change as weather improves. If you are willing to travel you will find one in that time. Looks like a good chance someone on this forum will hook you up. Ill keep my eyes open, I have friends that know like Wheel horse tractors and call me if they hear of any available.there was a 520h just up the road from me,not sure if he still has it, not perfect but had a lot of work left in it.

I found this one that looks fairly decent and looks gone through https://westernmass.craigslist.org/grd/d/tyro-wheel-horse-tractor/7064654812.html

that one also has the foot pegs not original and the recoil. and the hood isnt even done. who ever is selling it is nuts for $1000 it needs more to it for that. LOL
