Yours? Absolutely beautiful! Here's the crazy thing: a good friend of mine has one nearly identical! 426 street wedge,4 spd, red interior, #1 restored condition. Shown here with my 67 @ Carlisle in 1999

Yes Thank you! I took it to Carlisle first time 2019 and took 1rst place in the 62-65 B Body class.  I've been going to Chryslers at Carlisle with survivor cars since 2008. She picked up a 1rst junior last October at Hershey.

We've probably crossed paths at some point. I've had that Coronet down to Carlisle numerous times beginning in 1998. I've really cut back on the trips to Carlisle with it over the last 15 years though, 1st place every time. It only has 50,000 original miles, factory 383 4 bbl car. Never restored or disassembled (re-painted , long story). I'll have to get some pictures posted .

The one I had needed a CPAP machine for apnea!  It was a friends Grandma's car.  It was loaded... they bought it with a heavy duty towing package.  They used to pull a camper trailer with it.  I hadda rebuild the trans.  But she did git up and scat!  Not like your Hemi of course... but goodenfastenough for me at the time!

You probably have. And that's okay.

You should set aside some time to get over to Steve's place in October too.

That's a great time.

This is the car I worked on with the guy that owned the garage where I had my first job. Hemi factory race car 65 we ran SS B add a little weight for C class.

1/4 mile was 9.90 to 10.20 depending on the starting line
we ran into a guy a lot that had a car call the steel city wedge 64 car
That was in the seventies lots of fast cars all the way around.

There seems to be quite the wheel horse contingent in the Northeast. Everybody down here thinks Snapper was the best thing since sliced bread,  boy were they delusional! Wheel Horse, what's that? 😂

Snapper walk-behinds and rear-engines are still going strong with avid followings. They didn't do as well with the GTs, that's for sure.

Back in the early 70's I was cutting with a rear engine 32" cut I believe? I use to replace that drive disc every season. Went through lots of steering components as well. I guess all those wheelies didn't help😆

My dad had a Coronet with a 426 hemi. He always said that it would pass any thing but a gas station.  Wish that I could remember riding in that car, think my age was in the single digits at that time.
