Pullstart 62,883 #1 Posted January 26, 2020 Hey @WHX24 just think how fast plow day would be over if someone brought one of these over! We’d need another field or three to keep Rylee busy on @Shynon‘s 1054! 4 1
8ntruck 7,004 #2 Posted January 27, 2020 I dunno. It is mid furro and the hood is open. If that is a common occurance.........
Achto 27,577 #3 Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) Cool video Kevin!! I did notice that they had to open the hood for some reason there. Couldn't help but think that they wouldn't have had to do that if they had a RED tractor. If I added some weight to Radpferd, I bet that plow would make him roll a little coal. Pullstart 62,883 #4 Posted January 27, 2020 I’d normally agree with you both, but he was just grabbing tools to adjust the plows... 1
WHX?? 48,815 #5 Posted January 27, 2020 I dunno the way he was fiddle &$*#€¥ around with stuff Lowell and his third gear crew coulda had 10 passes done in the time it took him to do one. Not only that he wasn't getting good flips so it looked to me to be all show and no go. In his defense and no shine on the mold boards I would say this was is first crack at it? 1
Lee1977 6,659 #6 Posted January 27, 2020 It looked to me that he needed to shorten the lift link on the right and lengthen the top link. He was plowing deeper on the right then the back left..
Shynon 7,459 #7 Posted January 27, 2020 I think Rylee would have 6 laps in before he got one done.
Tractorhead 9,064 #8 Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) But that ain‘t answers the open hood. I guess he had troubles on cooling the Hydraulic pump. Edited January 27, 2020 by Tractorhead
Stormin 9,981 #9 Posted January 27, 2020 Looked like a brand new outfit, so most likely a first attempt. Bonnet up to get at his tools. As for the ploughing. To much grass showing. And as for the tyres. Far to wide for my tastes.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #10 Posted January 27, 2020 For you guys info, that guy makes custom build garden tractors, that one is well known to WFM guys, and believe me, if you had it, you wouldn't want to part with it. Having been to several different plow day events, the best plow machine in the garden tractor category, unmodified, is a John Deere 430. I've seen a lot of brands out there, and the 430 JD is the king of the field, with a JD 420 coming in a distant second. I would like to see how a WH D series does, though.

SylvanLakeWH 25,560 #12 Posted January 27, 2020 Eh... wrong color... Proven fact: red has better drag coefficient at top plowing speeds and better wind speed countermeasures while under power... Saw it on the inter web...
