arrkerr 54 #1 Posted January 18, 2020 On my last pass of clearing snow today I hit a spot at a bad angle where two cement slabs don't line up properly and the blade tipped down but I lost my blade lock. Took it apart and I've snapped the index pin. My blade is 0648BC01 which according to the parts diagram takes index pin part number 5127. That part is no longer available anywhere that I can find. Does anyone know if the part from later model plows, such as 88-6520, is the same? Any chance anyone has a source for a replacement, preferably before the next snow!? I've got an old plow off my grandfather's B-80 that I can use in an emergency, or snag its lock pin if its the same dimensions. Thanks! 1
Racinbob 11,045 #2 Posted January 18, 2020 There's at least one on ebay. They have it posted for a different blade but it's correct for yours.
ebinmaine 67,290 #3 Posted January 18, 2020 If you have a Lowe's or a metal fabrication shop nearby you can get a piece of the right size diameter steel and make one up. 2
WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #5 Posted January 18, 2020 As far as I know any long frame blade from 1973-2007 uses the same pin.
Racinbob 11,045 #6 Posted January 19, 2020 Actually way farther back than that WV including the short frame. Sent you a PM @arrkerr
