WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #1 Posted January 18, 2020 I found this TORO branded tractor trailer while Christmas shopping this past December and figured that since most of the other bigger true "Wheel Horse" haulers go for a mint and all my tractors are from the TORO era why not get it then modify to my liking with some decals... I haven't applied them yet but took a few pictures to show what they may end up looking like... I really prefer 1 set over the other but please feel free to voice an opinion, thanks Jeff. 1 6 1
ebinmaine 67,265 #2 Posted January 18, 2020 Wicked cute rig Jeff! I like the lower (no flames) set. I'm also quite fond of the fact that it's a cabover truck.
WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #3 Posted January 18, 2020 Here's the Nylint version... The one I snagged is ERTL but about 1/2 size. 1
Stormin 9,981 #4 Posted January 18, 2020 Lower, flameless one for me as well. Wish I could find something like the GMC one over here. I'll have to pay a visit to the local model shop next time in town. 2 1

JCM 9,130 #6 Posted January 18, 2020 Great Idea and both decals look good, tough decision, but having an old soul I vote for the flameless. 1

WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #9 Posted January 18, 2020 I had one just like this as a child and kept in near mint condition, but 15 years ago my son came along and we'll let's just say it didn't survive very well. 3

OR, you could do one side with flames and one side without and then just turn the truck around depending on the mood you are in that day. 1 1
Tractorhead 9,064 #16 Posted January 19, 2020 The flame one looks more sporty but a noflame is also pretty nice. i like both designs, but to be honest i‘m more on the flames.. 👍
JCM 9,130 #17 Posted January 19, 2020 @953 nut Boy you Hot Rod guys sure love your flames and being born in the late 50's I think they are pretty cool myself. 3

WHX?? 48,762 #20 Posted January 19, 2020 I like Richards idea of one each side Jeffrey. Flames never go out of style tho! At an auction last summer and a NIB WH one went for like 75. Bid on up to 50. Box was a little beat up but after seeing what they go for on fleabay 75 was a deal!
