lift lever spring?

Recommended Posts

kdb50ss

I  am new to this forum, and just bought a 1993 310-8 its in great condition, but the lift lever will not lock.

I took it apart tonight and I think the spring inside the handle is weak, I took off the mower deck and can get the lever lock to enage when I push up from the bottom or pull up on the rod.

Anyone know where I can get a new spring, before I took it apart?

Thanks

Might be a "standard part" you can get at a local hardware store.

Glad to see Garry fixed you up with a source for the spring.       Feel free to ask anything on here, we thrive on helping each other.

Here is my new tractor, my dad , whose 75 years old, has one but his is a 1988, this one is a 93, both 310-8s

My 93 has 700 hrs and seems to be in great shape.

Bought it with two nice mower  decks and a orginal 42 inch snow plow.

Just bought some wheel weights from Amazon and found a nice dump car.
