PeacemakerJack 10,738 #2 Posted January 13, 2020 Wow! That is SUPER COOL thanks for sharing that with us Eric and tagging me. I have never heard of that machine. Can’t wait to pass this along to my cousin Mike who specializes in the Case GT’s...maybe someday that tractor will show up at Portage?

When I saw that the first person I thought of was you. Maybe if you did a Google search with that guy's name you could come up with his location or contact info or something? Pullstart 62,834 #5 Posted January 13, 2020 (edited) I have to admit, I entered the drawing for the Case at Portage last year. I wrote my girls’ names on more tickets than myself, hoping I’d have to make a run to Cheese Land again. Funny thing is, I don’t have any pictures of it, but it was something like the Dark Knight edition or some mumbo jumbo. It was mainly black, some orange, some chrome. Here’s a cool Simplicity though from Portage, while I was looking for pics! Edited January 13, 2020 by pullstart

You should have won it ...they are quite the collector's piece. Would't have fit well in your herd tho…. way too nice!
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #7 Posted January 13, 2020 (edited) You got it Jim! Those were a very rare machine back in the day. They were called Black Knight Demonstrators...used by the dealerships to lend out to folks. My cousin Mike bought one a couple of years ago to restore someday. @19richie66‘s dad had one in his collection years ago too. They also had a Golden Demonstator—same idea, little different paint scheme... I didn’t like it as much as the Black Knight but on the full size tractors, I thought it was really cool... This is the idea that I want to use when we repaint my daughters Case 224 tractor. I think this would look really cool on a Case GT. Pullstart 62,834 #11 Posted January 13, 2020 Seems the raffle tractor was outside the Case barn, but it had a cab too? It was a monster indeed.

oliver2-44 9,729 #13 Posted January 14, 2020 The owner of that forklift Steve Guider is a great guy. As you can tell from the video he's so into Cases that he's become a vendor for many obsolete Case parts. I got a repop hood for my Case 130, and a battery tray bracket for my Case 180 from him. He doesn't have a Web page/business but I almost would call him the Lowell of the Case world.

It was a dandy... coulda swore I had pics of it. Yes it had a cab and I bought a bunch of tickets for it but I wouldn't win even if I bought all the tickets! I've got an high wheel Ingersoll 420PS in my yard now that belongs to my nephew but would make an nice demonstrator clone. She's got a PPG20 in it that runs sweet as molasses but the hydraulics are a mess and a real frame up project!. Leaks every where and these things are a nightmare to work on. The way they built them they are almost like a 953 frame and JIC fittings are impossible to get at. If I wasn't such a freak Cases would be my brand. If I ever run across the right one it might be the oddball in the herd. Best site for them I have found. https://casecoltingersoll.com/forum.php Looks like Jim @oliver2-44 is a contributor so can't be all bad?
