Hey Dell, for the second instrument hole, maybe a Voltmeter will be a senseful Unit.

So you will be simply able to see ahead, if the Battery Voltage is good enough to fireup.

To check the Voltage if the Charging system at all works and how it performs, even the Battery loads with less current.

Especially if you plan to use electric Accessories like Lights or lifters later on.

In my opinion A Voltage gauges is here more helpful.

They are 18x9.50-8.  It’s supposed to have 16x8.50-8 on it, but I got a killer deal on these out of season at Tractor Supply a year or so ago.  Got them for half price - $32 each.  Figured I’d be hard pressed to find a set for that price by the time I had them shipped here.

Im not an Onan guy, but I do like this one.  I may have to clean the carb out again though.  I have to have it setting a little rich to idle up smoothly and run good at high speed.  When you idle it down, she lopes around like a Harley where the fuel is about 1/2 turn high.  I figure it’s always better to have one running a little rich rather than lean.  I let it sit in the driveway to run a little while and cake in the house.  Becca said that thing sure is loud, I can hear it in here with the door closed!  That’s with two mufflers on it:ROTF:!!

By the way, check out that slick seat I got from @BOB ELLISON! It is perfect!  Really gives it that brand new look!

the sheet metal has some surface pitting from rust.

I actually like that in a resto. Gives it character and tells a past story.

That's a beast. Great job Dells.

I would love to have one but I have no need for a monster like that.
