WHNJ701 4,165 #102 Posted January 28, 2021 You know it's coming. I was reading something all federal vehicles are going to be electric by a certain date. I think it was 2008 to 2010 the company I was with was designing all these natural gas pumps to be installed gas stations and truck stops then it kinda dropped off
AMC RULES 37,130 #103 Posted January 28, 2021 Sad wings of destiny, right there! Seems we're all just victims of changes!
WHNJ701 4,165 #104 Posted January 28, 2021 The biggest thing I am afraid of is when they decide ban the carburetor, repair kits, spark plugs etc.. or they get taxed at a bazillion dollar rate
WHNJ701 4,165 #105 Posted January 28, 2021 Now back on topic, I dug out picture of the 84 I had for a short time @Zeek That's one I really wished I still had 4
c-series don 8,723 #106 Posted January 29, 2021 Always loved those style of rims. I had a super nice black 1990 F-350 XLT Lariat single rear wheel 4X4 with a 460 and those wheels. I have to find pictures. Favorite truck I’ve ever had.
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #107 Posted January 29, 2021 “turbine” wheels were really popular especially on trucks in the 80’s and 90’s. On the vintage trucks thread, a couple of pages in, I have a picture of my ‘76 K5 blazer with turbines! They are super cool and I hear that they are pretty desirable now—even collectible. @jabelman that is a sweet Blue Oval👍🏻
WHNJ701 4,165 #108 Posted January 29, 2021 That was a fun truck, had a carbed 302 out of mustang in it, 4speed, full dual exhaust headers and cherry bombs. Only had it for a about year. Unfortunately working 40hrs and going to college full time it wasn't the most efficient vehicle at the time

JCM 9,177 #111 Posted March 10, 2021 Usually during a normal Winter I don't get the chance to hand wash and wax the truck in the driveway and go to the do it yourself car wash because of the cap, racks and pipe box cannot use the drive through. The weather today was welcomed and took advantage to clean up the 2013 Chevy 2500 HD. Snow piles still showing their presence. 3

JCM 9,177 #113 Posted March 11, 2021 To bad everyone that sells them used thinks they are worth 2 times what they are worth. Looking forward to putting it to use this year in the Moosehead Lake Region. Thanks for the comment @ebinmaine

JCM 9,177 #118 Posted March 11, 2021 There is an RV dealer close by that sells new small travel trailers called Riverside retros, they look similar to the old Winnie look. @WVHillbilly520H
Pullstart 62,912 #119 Posted March 13, 2021 I think there’s a pair of turbine wheels up high in this picture... I’ve been having the urge to unrack that thing lately... maybe put a good engine in it!
rjg854 11,387 #120 Posted March 13, 2021 @pullstart Kevin, I THINK, you're going to need more racks, or a nice big addition by the looks of that picture. 1

rjg854 11,387 #122 Posted March 13, 2021 BUT, you'll still probably need the addition.
JCM 9,177 #124 Posted September 18, 2021 Decided to replace the seat covers on the 2013 Chevy 2500 HD that I installed when I bought the truck new. Being a work truck I try to keep after it as much possible. Vacuumed the carpet and seats and installed the new covers. Didn't take pics with covers on. Still looks decent with 128,000 miles. Hope to run this one until it doesn't. Been a good truck.
