That aint no Chattanooga Choo-choo!

that is one awesome machine. Do you know where that came from? Wonder if there's any of those machines left in this country maybe in a museum?

Somewhere in the article it indicates there aren't any left.

Sure would be interesting to see.

check out the steering (i assume it's for steering) wheel on the front right hand side. And those tire stud rings are pretty cool too.

I could really impress (or piss off) the neighbors with that baby!

If we only got some snow? :confusion-shrug:

Maybe this will also be funny... or?

That‘s in the Timmelsjoch, Alpsroad a „normal“ snowheight in Winter.

sorry, that the Language is in German, but the picture in this Video tells it‘s story impressive enough.

That's some beast. I would assume the steering wheel on the side,  is for raising and lowering auger.

Thanks for the post. I find old machines very interesting. Low speed, simple design, and easy to maintain. Wonder what happened to that philosophy?

Not nearly as impressive, I saw this guy at one of the Home Depots in town yesterday.

Never seen a scoop on a truck.

Always on a front end loader.

Very interesting.....

Is it a loader of a pusher?

The pic above is a pusher.

The folks around here mount them on FEL so they can lift and push at the same time to make huge piles of snow.

My bad! Never saw one off the ground so didn't give that a thought. :scratchead:

It looks like the truck has county sized plow hydraulics on it, capable of lifting and stacking a ton or two of snow per scoop.  If I go back to that store, which is rare... I might actually take some time to get out and scope the thing out a bit.

But still none compares to that blower mounted front monstrosity!q
