ebinmaine 67,277 #1 Posted December 29, 2019 Trina took her mom for a lovely walk in the White Mountain National Forest off the Kangamangus Highway. I tagged along... Sabbaday Falls is a 45 +/ - foot drop waterfall about 1/2 mile from the road. We spend a lot of time in the forest and mountains. This is truly the cleanest clearest water I've ever seen. After this we went to the Albany NH covered bridge and also explored the beginning section of the Boulder Loop Trail. The bridge was constructed in 1859 on the 3rd attempt after floods wiped out the first 2. It was put in so local valley farmers would have better access to the village of Conway NH. It's tough to see the size of this rock but the hole in the bottom is just big enough to camp in. Note the sunray she got in the lower right corner. One of the boulder walls... Probably 20 to 30 feet tall across the front. @posifour11 @JCM @Mows4three 1 7 1

Yes she did... She does about 99% of the photography here. She has quite an eye for it.

Mows4three 826 #5 Posted December 29, 2019 Eric, Your (Trina’s) photos bring back lots of memories for me. Nancy and I honeymooned near there 31 years ago. I’ll have to dig up my favorite picture from that trip. It was taken on that highway. Although we were there in late October that year, the foliage was still pretty amazing. It took us 25 years to get back to that area, but we did, we had a blast retracing our route. Thanks for posting! Happy New Year! Dave

JoeM 7,871 #7 Posted December 29, 2019 Nice! That is one beast of a covered bridge! We have several here but all single lane, two buggy size. Kind of reminds me of the fact that we should be stopping and enjoying our surroundings.

We're all going to get there. Life is about the voyage!!!
