JCM 9,130 #1 Posted December 29, 2019 Dug out some older pics with and without the snow cab. Snowmobile suit without the full coverage helmet was needed when the wind direction changes without cab. This is when the 2 stage shines in 20'' plus inches lands on the ground. 3 13
ebinmaine 67,266 #2 Posted December 29, 2019 Great stuff there Jim!! Love to see these old horses put to work. Only gotten a few inches of snow here so far this year so I'm going to offer up my Charger 12 project as it sits as my snow picture.

rdeanrj58 68 #6 Posted December 29, 2019 By the way JCM that snow blower looks impressive. I've never really used one
JCM 9,130 #7 Posted December 29, 2019 @rdeanrj58 When I bought that 312-8 in 1989 I asked the dealer about a snowblower for it and he suggested to me the minimum HP for a blower was 16 HP, but he really recommended the 520- H which I ended up buying years later. That 2 stage blower impresses me to this day every time I use it. If you ever have the chance to buy one I think you will agree it is AWESOME, and thanks for the comment.
953 nut 55,065 #8 Posted December 29, 2019 No snow here yet this season, but here is a shot from last winter.
JCM 9,130 #9 Posted December 29, 2019 @953 nut Light fluffy snow can be fun to play with but the heavy wet stuff can be a real workout the older we get even with the aid of a WH. By the way, nice backdrop and thanks for the from down south pictures.
JoeM 7,871 #10 Posted December 29, 2019 Ready, set snow! Been more like ready, set, rain here! I am waiting to install plow this year. Had it on last year and played around twice but no real action. It has been pretty slim the last few years for snow. 1

Come on up and we'll let you clear the yard for us. 1
JCM 9,130 #12 Posted December 29, 2019 Thanks for reminding me Eric, I suppose I should head outside to the wood pile and bring in some more hardwood, start a few tractors to get them in the mood for some action.

McGrew 460 #19 Posted January 9, 2020 Winter pics? You want winter pics? I pulled my generator out to warm it up and make sure it was working. Here are the pics: OKay, it was 62* and sunny, but it is Winter here! Danny 2 1 4

Darb1964 1,042 #21 Posted January 9, 2020 I could go for some sun and 62! Two big storms early December about thirty inches total. Bad ice storm two weeks ago, fifties and rain for the weekend. Gotta love the Berkshires?

McGrew 460 #23 Posted January 10, 2020 Pullstart, no not factory. The tractor is mostly the 71 Raider 10 my Dad bought new. It was repowered 25 years ago with an OHV Techie 14. The engine and hood scoop both came from the Bolens donor tractor. Eric, you may be jealous now, but it will be my turn in August and September when its 100* and 95% humidity. Can you say “miserable”? Danny
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #24 Posted January 10, 2020 We have a weathermaker coming in tonight through tomorrow night...originally they were talking about a foot of snow—now they are only talking around 5-8”. So, I’ll likely get some seat time soon. It looks like the bulk of it is going to go right through Elgin where our very own @stevasaurus is residing. Make sure your tractors are fueled up and ready to move some snow Steve.
