I was going by the tire size for the rim not realizing that the rim I have has an over size tire on a 4” rim. So I I’m good. Had the right rim and didn’t know it lol. Kevin, I’m helping him with the tranny. Right now it’s all apart on my bench and I’ve been in Florida a few days for the birth of our granddaughter so that’s holding up progress on his tractor a little. Dirtpoor 131 #38 Posted February 1, 2020 Alright got a small up date. Denny got the transaxle back together a couple weeks ago but to cold in my garage. Got it put back in and the drive side back together only to find out the brake rod on the other side was hanging in front of the bracket that holds the brake. Could get the rod off so thanks to Denny’s advice drop the transaxle down and pull the rod up where it goes. Then my 16 year old daughter came out begging to drive I stopped there. 1

Yes it did felt way different from the first time. Then we get snow just what I was waiting for 😁. I can not believe the torque this 10 horse has. It was pushing this snow with no problems. From what I read the blade I have is for a bigger tractor. If I remember correctly its like 54”. 1
ebinmaine 67,266 #44 Posted February 6, 2020 8 to 10 horsepower is more than enough to push snow. Traction is the key. Lots of weight. Chains. It's surprising how much these things will move if you can keep the tires stuck to the ground.

I'm doing a similar thing on my charger 10 and all I'm doing is sanding it down with 320 grit and plenty of WD-40. Before you spray clear make sure the surface is extremely clean. You might clay bar that before sanding, it might clean up better than you think! And if sanding, I think something much finer than 320, 100 or 1500 would be better.
