Seriously though and Ive had to do this on a iced up hill in a 4x4.......a huge fricking hill too, I was lucky I had a blade on the front, so I dropped the blade, I had to use the blade all the way to the bottom, almost a half mile......saved me from going off the cliff.

I knew a guy a while ago that had a fairly hilly yard and he plowed it with an old international scout. The vehicle had zero brakes. Nothing. Drop the plow. Stop the truck. He ran it that way for at least three or four seasons that I know of. Maybe many more.

Assembling Christmas toys? I pushed myself so hard on my bathroom project, I ended up suffering from exhaustion this weekend. That caused flu like symptoms and I was heading to the couch at 3am to let my wife sleep. All is well now, After an ER visit in early hours this morning and an IV drip to replenish some lost fluids! Eric - sorry to have gone off subject and hijacked your thread for a bit. No worries on meandering a bit on any of my threads. Just means we learned something else. Kevin, glad to hear you're getting better. That's a lesson I learned the hard way at my last job.
Pullstart 62,799 #34 Posted December 24, 2019 Thanks for the good vibes, fellas. Now this morning we’re gearing up for a venture out to have Mrs. P’s knee surgery... clean up a few tears and scar tissue from previous works in there... Merry Christmas Eve!
Tractorhead 9,064 #35 Posted December 24, 2019 Hey Buddy, didn‘t see that before, sorry. Take Care of you my Friend, don‘t break things over the knee, If you exhaust yourself like you did, see it as a Warnsign of your Body to reduce a bit the rush. Sometimes we need a little break between works, to recover quick. you can shortly ignore them, but they catch you than later that hard. Think Eric know‘s what i‘m talking about. Best convalescence wishes and some healing Prayers to Mrs. Pullstart with her knee surgery, hope it will quick and also a Merry Christmas to you all.
Pullstart 62,799 #36 Posted December 24, 2019 Though I know it wasn’t best for my health, I was able to meet the inspector’s needs... so I was happy with that outcome! Taylor is just getting some previous work cleaned up for better range of motion and to prevent a random binding. Merry Christmas to you guys too, now let’s hear some happy talk about tractors and whatnot! 1
