Goldnboy 959 #27 Posted June 13, 2020 I made a clutch rod by using a coupling and clutch rod from a hydro and 8 speed. Then I got all the lines installed pump, tank and valve added oil. Then noticed the pump was leaking from a pressure valve and was cracked. Good thing I chose a rebuilt one and kept my receipt! 1
Goldnboy 959 #28 Posted June 20, 2020 Today I added two new choke/ throttle cables since old ones were short. Swapped out the single valve for dual valve. Mounted the solenoid to a new location. Then fastened it all down, no leaks tomorrow we fire up engine and do a test.
Goldnboy 959 #29 Posted June 21, 2020 Well I had a little issue with paint, etc on the points, and coil and no spark at first but a light sanding solved that solution. Thanks to Richmond red for the quality engine. I will now work on a belt guard in the coming weeks.
