Does anyone have a WH MSRP list... wondering what my newly acquired c175 would have retailed for?

If my math is correct, you spent an average of $130 per year for the past 35 years.  You are so far ahead.  If one spent the same amount of money today on a flimsy box store mower, they wouldn't have it for 35 years let alone MAYBE 10 years if they were lucky.

I will also add that even a dealer sold tractor at that price now isn't much better, still flimsy frame, you may get a better quality engine but that's about it. Seems they are all going with the brand called General Transmission and the housing is plastic, gears are plastic.  Tuff torq is another one, a little better but not much. Dont count on having it long. All designed to fail at a certain hour range unless you are putting it under a load like pulling a heavy cart or pulling your boat trailer, it will speed up the process. They want you to spend $800 to replace the trans unit or buy a new tractor to keep the money flowing. What a sad world.

Man, these tractors were expensive back in the day! You could buy a new car for a couple grand more.

Was the band-aid included in that price? Figured that may have been the $0.14 you paid in advance! :ychain:

I believe the bandaid was included. I think Marty even chipped in the 14 cents. They had 0% interest for 6 months at the time and that is how I payed for it.

and that was probably a good price

been a while - but I recall higher prices at dealers in my area around that time

Wheel Horse garden tractor is like a tool

buy a good tool and cry once when you pay for it and then smile every time you use it

@wheelwhores      Nice thread, interesting to find out how deep everyone had to reach into their pockets to buy one of the best Garden Tractors ever built. The only one that is mine is the 312-8, The C-175 and the 520-H were bought at the same Dealership as mine and I ended up with the old paper work when I bought some of the attachments. The paper work for the 520 shows the total amount and no breakdown with attachments as does the C-175, also note the C-175 was traded up for the 520. As the ad says on page 144-5 in the book Wheel Horse Story Final addition,Wheel Horse owners once, Wheel Horse owners for life.
