Raider 14 Parts

Recommended Posts

Pottercountypuddlejumper

Hi! Newbie here! What a great site! I’m not out cutting grass, snow on the ground, temps in the teens! So I’m thinking about next summer.

Need parts! Inherited my MIL’s Raider 14, been mowing with it for years and babying it along with parts found on EBay. Where do you guys find your parts? Specifically looking for this little gem, if anyone has an idea where to get NOS parts for this “never give up” lawnmower I will be one happy camper! Thanks! 8ABC5D1B-F057-4A4B-B4E8-D88A959A4C16.jpeg.f057245a8113b66dd0e819d38f81de37.jpeg

We have several members that can fix you up with good used parts like that, but fifty year old NOS may be hard to come by.

You could post an ad in our free classifieds.    https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/classifieds/wanted/?do=form&d=2

A-Z Tractor is a good honest supplier many of us use.  https://a-ztractor.com/

The number one place to find parts here would be A-to-Z tractors. Check their website plus they are a vendor here on red square. Also a lot of us collectors have parts we do sell as well. You couldn't have come to a better site for support and a place to build a great relationship with other collectors. Just fair to warn you that these things are addictive !

IMHO, upgrade to the Front Mule Drive and ditch all that cumbersome Side Drive apparatus.  Very easy to do and you'll find all the stuff on Ebay or in the vendors section here.  Belt tension is adjusted by the Front Knob of the Mule Drive.  You'll also need to use a different drive belt.  There is also a MS Word Document DOWNLOAD narrative on what and how to do this. upgrade. Here are the parts needed to upgrade...mostly:

:WRS:         I have most of the parts for your older side drive deck or for the conversion to the newer front mule drive system that Dave describes.

Great to hear that these old side mounts can be converted. I was hesitant to remove one recently to mount a snow blade on a 69 Electro.
