JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,497 #1 Posted December 7, 2019 Let us try not to let this day get lost in history. Remember the servicemen that lost their lives on that fatefull morning. It would be a shame if this day is forgotten by the American people. Glenn 1 3

Pullstart 62,795 #3 Posted December 7, 2019 Let us never forget, this day of infamy. There is a sobering thought in my mind, a sense of pride on my shoulders, sorrow in my heart for the ones lost. 3

Mickwhitt 4,592 #6 Posted December 7, 2019 An Important day for America and the free world. Must never forget the horror of the attack and the lives lost. Just watching two TV programmes on the attack. God bless those who perished. Mick 4
ZXT 2,401 #7 Posted December 8, 2019 I was lucky enough to visit Pearl Harbor earlier this year. It was by far my favorite part of visiting Hawaii. Going through and reading through everything there was an excellent experience. I especially liked visiting the exact place on the USS Missouri where the Japanese surrendered. I didn't know that the Missouri was an active ship until the early 90s. I feel for everyone who had to experience that tragic day. I will do my part to keep it from being forgotten. I believe at the time (May of this year), there were 4 left that were on the Arizona. I believe there are 3 now. I saw one of them at a book signing, but wasn't able to meet him. Thank you everyone who has served.
Buzz 502 #8 Posted December 8, 2019 When I was in the Navy I was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway and we used to tie up on Ford Island right behind the Arizona. The battleship USS Missouri is tied up there now. All US navy vessels man the rails and render honors when passing her. I felt honored to do so. 1
