AHS 1,440 #1 Posted December 6, 2019 Duh! I need a Wheelhorse; one for snowblower, one for plow, one for lawnmower, and one for grader... I wish! I need to switch the plow to my kinda refurbished snowblower. New paint in the blower box, new paint on the chute, all new bearings, new blower sprocket, 2 new idler idler gears, a new chain. Auger is not painted ( that will happen this July!) too late in the season, snow can come at any moment now! Oh does anyone have a chain guard in the front they wanna sell me?
ebinmaine 67,306 #2 Posted December 6, 2019 I've said many times. Jokingly but serious also. I can totally justify one tractor for every implement. 11

peter lena 8,583 #5 Posted December 6, 2019 AHS, nice work on the blower refit, i use LUBRIPLATE CHAIN AND CABLE SPRAY LUBE ON MY BLOWER WITH great results, i spray it down before and after use, ensuring its never lacking for lubrication. also fitted a SERATED WASHER on the side chain adjustnent point , ensuring no adjustment creep , pete

It would be really nice if you knew where there was some c-series stuff that you could have so you could build your very own c160... like if you were to trip over a 16 horse somewhere. Like down at my house... 2

AHS 1,440 #12 Posted December 6, 2019 Plow off, snowblower on, and it works! New seat on and old seat linkage on, instead of that new garbage that they call seat linkage! The seat was moved to far forwards and the seat bolts were odd, ( not 7” x7 1/2) and the key switch for not mowing backwards, I connected those wires together a long time ago!👍😄 I’m ready to go snow blowing!

peter lena 8,583 #15 Posted December 6, 2019 AHS , as hillbilly above showed the serated washer , https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNQGyWfRJiE69Q8IId4C3k0_nV8kiw:1575660673640&q=serrated+washer+fastenal&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiegfS14aHmAhUnVt8KHTyFDA4QsAR6BAgHEAE&biw=1024&bih=625 is meant to hold solid a sliding mount point . the bottom foward idler gear is also the sliding chain adjustment point , those serated teeth will lock into the related metal work and hod your adjustment . i also see that you have the same seat that i have 3 of for my horses. i am using those two empty bolt holes on mine to make up a bracket for led light flash mount for nighttime plowing. pete

The 3 seconds I got to sit it! I can see the use for the serrated washers...I made the chain to tight and then loosening it is a nightmare...it’s either too loose or too tight! Until Arthur got on there! 1

The steel companies around me don't sell small pieces either but we have several fabricators of custom trucks phone repair shops that will... HD and Lowe's in my area don't sell a piece big enough for a 48 inch plow blade at the brick and mortar store although you may be able to order it online and have it shipped to store.
