rjg854 11,350 #2 Posted December 4, 2019 On one of the idler sprockets, you should see a slot, that's the one you use for tightening the chain. 1

troutbum70 857 #4 Posted December 4, 2019 End opposite of the belt pulley, bottom front sprocket. Not a lot of adjustment available, but that's the one. I have a 32 inch and gave it and my K181 in my commando 800 a work out yesterday hi hi.
moe1965 737 #5 Posted December 4, 2019 My chain was stretched out and I had no more adjustment available. I installed a half link and back up and running. Removing one full link was to much. Just incase you run into the same issue.
peter lena 8,583 #6 Posted December 4, 2019 ever used lubricant on that auger drive set up ? the wear and play on these is easy to correct and replace. you can look up those chain gears and #40 chain , probably pick them up at a tractor supply . that auger should easily spin by hand when properly set up , making its use a treat. i would also add a SERATED LOCK WASHER on that adjustment slot bolt, to secure its setting . pete
