The problem I have is I need to push it 200-300 ft to get it across the street and the 48” on the 520 just don’t have the ass to straight push wet stuff. I want to modify the 54” and make removable wings for it. I’m going to take another 54” and section it out. Not sure how wide I’ll go though

Here it is illegal to push your snow across the road so I always find different ways to deal with it.

@Sherwood’s Power, how do you have the trip spring rod located at the back/top of the moldboard ?  The bottom hole is for snow plowing (rolling the snow over and off the moldboard vs the top hole for moving dirt... This may help resolve some of your issues.

I run the plow for snow at the 2nd hole from the bottom so it's near straight up and down.

herder, my next door " neighbor "  is a hoarder, and has a house the hides in plane site , with so much over growth/ neglect , it would be a perfect place to go scorched earth, just my own opinion . as for snow , if its deep , over a foot i use a 26" 8 hp mtd blower to get to my sheds , to get to the horses. more often than not i use the 42" plows  unless the snow is fluffy enough for the 36x42  single stage . once i get going i could plow or move snow all day ,  i love to play in the snow. i even have an electric  snow thrower that i use on my back deck, 18" wide , snow builds up on it like a dead zone, i will not shovel it off , when the thrower will blow off feet of snow in minutes , with little effort ,  pete

Not sure it’s illegal here but it’s NY so everything is illegal. Nobody around here would bust my balls. We fix half of the towns equipment so that’s not a issues. I don’t want the stuff I’m my driveway lol

Ya I’ll have to check. I think I came to the conclusion I’m going to buy another D200. I got a plow and snowblower with the first one, I’ll setup one to blow and one to plow. Need to find a chute control rod though lol. I’m pretty sure that means I’ll be making one

I am picking up a blower for my c175 tomorrow morning.  It is for a 300 series tractor, by I've been told it will fit on mine.  I can see that it will mount just fine, but I can't figure out how I will get the lift attached to it.  I hope it makes sense when I get it home.  It is a Toro 79361

I've never dealt with the two stage blowers myself, though I wouldn't mind at some point.  Looking up quickly the parts list on Toro 79361 I pulled up this diagram. Excuse my Windows Paint additions to the diagrams, but In my first image the highlighted yellow part is your lift bar, and should run all the way back to your lift mechanism on the C-175. Now there is an important distinction in your lift mechanism for the snowblower if you haven't use one before.  Unlike a mower, or plow that use the area marked by the red X in my second image, your blower should attach to the main lift linkage up above it, as shown with the highlight and red circle.  That is provided all the components are the right length, as I do not know if distances changed between the C Series and the 300 series.  But provided all the lengths are the same everything looks to me like it should bolt up nice, but I am not 100% sure as I have never done this myself, I'm just going based off of pictures.  Good Luck to you though, and if it works I, as well as I'm sure many others would love to see pictures of it all complete!

Technically it was made for the 520s but ends up on the smaller B C 3 and 400 series tractors... The 520 has a bigger front axle as well as 1" spindles with automotive style tapered roller bearings and of course hydraulic lift. Not that it doesn't work it's just takes more horse power to effectively/efficiently run the 2 stage blower as well how much weight you like lifting with your left arm on a 312 vs say a 416H 520H or C160A ect. JMO. The other thing with the black hoods is the good sticking out over the frame another 3" or so than the standard versions so when lifting the blower up you may incur some rubbing/touching of the hood and blower housing.
