WHX?? 49,165 #5 Posted December 2, 2019 (edited) Hey Marc and I use synthetic 10w40 so as the motor and tranny both take the same oil. Works good for me. Guys here claim the synthetic works a bit better in cold weather. Does seem to help. Your 416 should have the Eaton 1100 and tons of info on them here. A fairly reliable and bullet proof unit you take care of it. I have three tractors with them in it but they do all have their own quirks.
