WVHillbilly520H 10,373 #26 Posted December 1, 2019 The anniversary 520 with cab and deuce I bought brand new and the other 520 with blade I bought used is older with less hours. And of course the Kioti for use in WV. Then if I ever find time to convert these orange implements over to my lil red diesel 8

They are 20 x 8 x 8 tires that are fluid-filled for extra weight. 4 inches taller than stock of course but I don't care about the extra 2 inch rise of frame height because I have no mower decks. If anything, it helps quite a lot with ground clearance while plowing and driving in our rough woods.

You can't have a moose in your way when you're plowing. That's actually the ah-oooogaa horn I put on for Owls Head last year. I took it off today, for the winter.
Tach-a-matic 357 #34 Posted December 1, 2019 B-80. Without a doubt the easiest machine to work on ever. Only two safeties, fuel tank is easily accessible/removable, minimal levers and rods, and everything is out in the open its so refreshing S16H. still easy (compared to a car) but nothing like a mid 70's Horse 7

WHX?? 48,835 #38 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) Hope you guys don't mind some more action shots. 520 with a single in 14" of fresh powder day before turkey day in northern WI deer camp. Busting the initial trail through 2 ft drifts in 30 mph winds was the worst. Got a real quick lesson on keeping the chute turned with the wind! Doing good till I lost the pin that holds the attach keeper up into the front attach. A tie down lashed the blower back to the tractor and ran a 1/4 mile backwards in my own tracks to camp for repairs. Luckily I found the bracket in the snow and a piece of all 3/8 all thead for a new pin and back in business. Finished clearing a 1/2 mile of road plus parking areas. Four hours of seat time not counting down time for repairs. 6 gallons of gas. Guys are right about needing to keep a single loaded up. Onan never missed a beat other than being thirsty. JCM 9,207 #43 Posted December 3, 2019 Nice to have someone who doesn't mind using a shovel to help with the cleanup.Beautiful garage you have there, looks like a Morton building. Keep on bringing the 520-H snow removal pics. Never have used a Single stage, seems to do a nice job.
Blackhood Bill 721 #44 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) This is from last year. C-145 with single stage blower, no problems with clogging up! Nothing here as of yet Edited December 3, 2019 by Blackhood Bill 4
WildmanC120 613 #45 Posted December 3, 2019 I'll have some pics and video later today of my 416H running a 41" single stage. We got hammered here over the last 2 days and I have not been home to VT yet. Been staying at my girlfriend's house which is closer to my work in NY. I'm leaving work soon (sick time cough cough) so I can go play. I'm hoping the 416 and single stage will handle it. I'm currently trying to button up my install of the 2 stage on my 161 but the snow came early. We will see I guess. This is a photo from my cameras I have setup at the house. I'm driving my Tahoe but as you can see my car is pretty buried.
ebinmaine 67,712 #46 Posted December 3, 2019 Portland Maine (work terminal) should end up with 6 or 8 inches. At home Trina says only a couple inches fell. Only about 30 miles difference. I'll get a chance to play with the Cinnamon Horse later today.

WHX?? 48,835 #48 Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) 3 hours ago, JCM said: Beautiful garage you have there, looks like a Morton building. Actually no Jim but it does look like one. Regular stick build with common trusses. Back in '87 when I built it T-111 was all the rage in siding so that's what I used . Trouble was the siding had defects where missed material made horizontal strips in-between the vertical grooves. Bugs got in the horizontal strips then the woodpeckers went after the bugs & sometimes put a hole right through it. Louisiana Pacific the maker had to cough up some coin so say the lawyers but I never got any! Couple years back I got tired of looking at it and staining all the time so just put steel on and was done with it. Yes this single surprised me on how far it launched it. They don't do well with light dustings tho.. 2 or less inches. You have to run in 3rd or as fast as the hydro will push to keep it loaded up. My short chute doesn't do nearly as well. Fact last year the short got ripped right off in slush and ain't gonna get fixed --- look for a long chute and convert it. Burnerman 758 #49 Posted December 3, 2019 Learned a few things. Solid link on the plow= awesome for the icy crust from this storm. Chains and turf tires = awesome. I’ve had the chains on the AGs and they stink. The biggest thing I missed was the fun I had pushing snow on it!!😁 Oh! And these monkey grip gloves are the best thing going for hands on snow removal. Hands warm and dry and they might save a finger from a snowblower. 😲 don’t ask how I know. 8 4
ebinmaine 67,712 #50 Posted December 4, 2019 Well we had another HUGE milestone here today. Trina was home from work and we got about 4 inches of snow. She hopped on her 867 "pigpen" or "otha tracta" and moved some-o-the white stuff..... With the mid mount grader!!! Unfortunately I don't have pics of that because I wasn't home. But!!! She's decided to have us set up that tractor with a 42" snow plow! So we'll be trying out a new thing for her then as well... We'll keep ya posted. Here's a video of me on the Cinnamon Horse she took from the porch as I was cleaning up. 5
