Sparky-(Admin) 21,304 #1 Posted November 29, 2019 Seems awful early to be talking about a major winter event (snow ) but all the weather guessers on all the local channels are saying we are gonna get hit! Hearing all sorts of measurements from 4” up to 14”. Luckily my winter machine is all prepped for whatever we get. Took it out tonight and buzzed around the yard for 15 minutes just to exercise the ol’ girl. 4

Under the hood now is a sweet running Kohler Magnum 10! I actually think it’s an upgrade over the Briggs. 2
ebinmaine 67,277 #4 Posted November 29, 2019 We're waiting to see what's cookin for Northern New England too. I've got the heavy tires and chains on the Cinnamon horse. Gonna mount up the 48" plow and throw the steel weights on Sunday. Trina has a mid-mount grader on her 867. Both walk behind snowblowers are tuned up, gassed up, ready to go! BRINGITT !!! 1

I'm still not ready. The 2 stage and cab are swapped over to the new 520 but haven't wired the chute motors yet and need to do some repairs on the back panel of the cab. Still need to swap engines on the walk behind blower and have not even started the 855 plow tractor.

Burnerman 758 #10 Posted November 30, 2019 I’m all set too. I hope it’s not ice though. Snow is no problem but ice just sucks.

Plowed late Sunday evening, maybe 2” max. Then had to plow an inch off the driveway Monday after work. Today after work (Tuesday) I used my Ariens walk behind to get another 4-5” cleared. This last one was heavy. So maybe 6-8” total over 36 hours.

mmmmmdonuts 274 #18 Posted December 5, 2019 (edited) Got 26" from Sunday through Tuesday morning. Relentless storm that just kept coming in waves. Still digging part of it out with more snow today. First year, first storm without a cap or tonneau cover on my truck. Needless to say it overfilled the bed. Edited December 5, 2019 by mmmmmdonuts
