I'm curious to know how much you have used that rear mount grader and how you feel about the usage of that versus the mid-mount.

Does it have as much or more down pressure? Ease of control? Just an overall impression....

I have not used the rear grader blade much  Eric.  This winter will be a good test !

I like the rear blade but that's what I grew up around... And as for down pressure that was me standing on it while dad was driving or my new trick standing on the blade steering and pushing the hydro lever or pulling the lift lever... Try that with a foot operated hydro ...

I have the 50” mid-mount on a work horse GT-1800 and yes it works great for scraping up packed snow. Also works well for grading my dirt road, spreading topside etc. It’s one of my favorite attachments. I also like my two stage bower, and the dozer blade, and loader, and Sweepster broom, and the....., wait? Now I cannot decide!!! 😂

I can put one in the center attachamatic and one in the rear slot hitch!   Might  helt with wet snow or ice.

Trina tried hers on her 867 a few days ago. About 4 inches of medium-weight snow.

 

The removal of the snow as a plow went fairly well but she has nearly zero ability to steer. Roller chain wrapped around the front tires would help that.

 

She had so much fun we are going to install one of my extra snow blades on the tractor.
