WildmanC120 613 #1 Posted November 17, 2019 I bought this set of rims and tires last year from ME Miller not realizing that the hub was not the correct length. I cobbed something together last year but wanted to make it much cleaner. Found this set of bushings online. Paired it with 1 of these washers and it was literally a perfect fit. The only thing I need now is to find a center grease cap to fit these wheels. Anyone have any ideas?
Pullstart 63,261 #2 Posted November 17, 2019 Try Tractor Supply or a store similar in their trailer section... you might be able to find some steel caps that’ll fit over. Seems @Lane Ranger uses a certain coffee creamer cap?
ronhatch 406 #3 Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Look in the plumbing section of your local hardware/Home Depot store and find a PVC plastic water pipe caps that will fit. I found caps that fit my stock rims, but I did have to wrap a lay or two of 3/4" wide or so of duck tape around the hub so the cap fit tight. Don't forget to drill a 1/16" or 3/32" hole in the cap to let out the pressure under the cap when you grease the wheel hub. Did I mention they are cheap? If you can find a couple of caps that will fit from something in your kitchen or bathroom, all the better! Edited November 17, 2019 by ronhatch
