Pullstart 62,882 #51 Posted April 14, 2020 Fully fired after a long winter’s slumber! I’ve picked a couple sets for her to choose from for the time being. When Rylee finishes her school work, we’ll swap some tires and do some hot laps! 1 1
Pullstart 62,882 #52 Posted April 14, 2020 We pulled the “foot rest” of a rusted solid deck off and scooched the seat up pretty far. I’m one burrito away from getting stuck on this thing! It’s a blustery day with wind and occasional snow flurries... Rylee was a tad bit cold. We decided that on a warmer day, Filly’s a perfect candidate for a nice long wet sanding! 2 3 1

Mickwhitt 4,624 #56 Posted April 15, 2020 Hi Rylee, You look great riding your own WH. I learned mechanics from my grandad when I was your age, helping him with his old van because his hands were too big to do the small stuff in carburettors and distributors. Stood me in good stead through life, I became a mechanic, then a police officer investigating car accidents and now a retired WH junkie lol. Have fun learning about Filly, and riding her. Pullstart 62,882 #57 Posted April 15, 2020 What a difference 12 hours makes! While it snows on April 15, you can see the circle she was “Cold Lapping” in! 1 1

I have a set of skis off a snowmobile... if we ever got a real amount of snowfall, I’d be all over converting a machine to scoot in the snow!
D_Mac 8,619 #60 Posted April 15, 2020 Maybe Rylee can be the first gymnast NASCAR driver. Keep practicing those circles ! 1

Somewhere, I’ve got a picture of my father in-law with his teammate... Adam Petty. NASCAR roots aren’t too far away in the blood line Here’s a thread where we have chatted about race connections before.
tom2p 2,394 #62 Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) could be a future Jessica Zemken (Tony Stewart's old girl friend) but I suggest something a little more safe Edited April 15, 2020 by tom2p
Mickwhitt 4,624 #63 Posted April 15, 2020 Wow! Gymnast too. Now that does deserve some serious respect young lady! Absolute lack of fear (or so it seems). Look great in racing overalls too with your dad. We never had kids Kevin but if we had I'd have loved mine to be into motors and machinery like Rylee is. Keep on posting how Filly develops. I may end up using the S/G engine on something, like Rylee I too am more of a gear drive dude.
