WildmanC120 613 #1 Posted October 26, 2019 (edited) So when you throttle up to full the throttle just creeps back down. Am I missing a part or what needs to be done here to keep the throttle where I set it? Thanks Throttle video Edited October 26, 2019 by WildmanC120
ZXT 2,401 #2 Posted October 26, 2019 (edited) It's an issue of wear on the throttle lever itself. Sometimes you can squeeze the rivet (*with a pair of vise grips or similar) on the throttle lever to give it a bit more tension, but most people drill out the rivet and replace it with either a 10-32 screw and nut or a 1/4-20 bolt and nut. Most excellent advise. Thank you.

WildmanC120 613 #5 Posted October 26, 2019 Such an easy fox yet I couldn't think of it. All I could think of was I was missing a spring or how I could rig up another spring to hold it open.
Bill D 2,037 #6 Posted October 26, 2019 On all my tractors except my GT1642 I have drilled out the rivet and replaced it with a 1/4 - 20 bolt and nylock nut. Throttle tension is adjustable that way. Bill.
