ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #1 Posted October 25, 2019 Read yesterday that the earliest recorded snowfall here in Oklahoma was on 10/25/1957. We beat that record yesterday. It started snowing around 1 in the afternoon and snowed most of the night, sure is pretty but I was out most of the night in the wrecker. Luckily no major accidents just a bunch of people sliding off the road and needing winched out 7

ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #8 Posted October 25, 2019 It snuck up on me though...I heard the guy on the radio say we were gonna get snow, but didn’t believe it much as they are wrong 90% of the time. Should have had the plow on the 753 so I could have had a little seat time in it
AMC RULES 37,129 #9 Posted October 25, 2019 Hopefully, there will be a next time for you guys soon. So, did that little nuisance storm shut the whole state down...like it does here?

So, did that little nuisance storm shut the whole state down...like it does here? Wasn’t too bad...had about 1500 people without power overnight, but wasn’t near as bad as it usually is. Ground temp was warm enough that most of it didn’t stick to the roads, that’s usually the worst part for us...first snow always gets people in trouble...seems like they forget how to drive in it every year

Dakota8338 115 #19 Posted October 27, 2019 You've got snow, and I am considering if I can put the mower away, or if I need to mow once more before storing it for the winter. My-o-my, but those are the facts of life when one lives in the tropics. Maybe because we see snow so seldom, but it sure was pretty. Would have truly enjoyed seeing some of that here in LA. It would have sure beat the rain that we received. Now the mystery deepens. The earliest recorded snowfall was 10/25/1957, and we are in the throes of a Global Warming situation, yet 62 years later the old record for the earliest snowfall was broken by a day. Did I miss something?

Did I miss something? That's why its not called global warming anymore, now its called climate change. Kinda covers whatever happens.
