Imo that is the very best worker Wheelhorse made hands down. Engine will run forever and it is very simple. All the power you could need. I recently restored one and also found another at a local tag sale. Has just shy of 2800 hours and runs mint with no smoke or noise. May have been rebuilt at one point not sure. Best of luck with it!

I'm in the search for another one right now myself. I just sold one of mine and now I have some extra space. Not sure yet what I'm looking for but I'm sure when I find it I'll buy it !

We will have to plan a day and all get together with our tractors and get a group pic, maybe a cruise through a neighborhood. They wont know what hit em !

years ago I used to ride motorcycles and bicycles all over the northern part of south western PA (northern allegheny county, butler county, etc)

and always on the lookout for Wheel Horse tractors

got some funny looks when I would ride on the driveway toward  their garage or house (and some not so friendly dogs !)

some also had some great vintage farm tractors ... Farmall ..  etc.

so I found some Wheel Horse tractors - but the owners were not interested in selling

later saw a few of those same Wheel Horse owners at the tractor and steam show in Portersville

one particular Wheel Horse at a small service station in Slippery Rock caught my eye ... old mid-60's round hood with a snow plow ... every time I passed through that area I would stop in - and the answer was always 'No'   lol

finally convinced the owner to sell the mower deck ... had to find it first ... (that's another story)

really itching to get my 704 running again

but sitting for close to 20 years - so who knows what lies ahead

it has been stored inside though

Nice score.  I agree with Steevebo that the K341 is the best engine to have in a Wheel Horse.  With a little work, this one will serve you well for years to come.  I've had my C165 for nearly twenty-five years and will never give her up!
