Ol Red 6 #1 Posted October 23, 2019 Hey Guys, I am new to the forum just bought a c-121 with a 48” mower deck. I need to replace the deck belt, but can’t seem to locate the deck model # so I can find the right belt. Does anyone happen to know the belt # or model # to the 48 in deck? peter lena 8,583 #4 Posted October 23, 2019 if you have a tractor supply near by , you could just bring in your old belt and match it up, i usually go 1" shorter to make up for stretch , don,t for get to grease your spindles , and check out belt tension pulley for noise or sloppy movement. pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

That is exactly why I mentioned the deck size just in case you were not aware. Here is the 42" side discharge deck. There is also a 42" rear discharge that may use different belts. I always look them because don't like guessing. Clicking on the picture takes you to a page with the belts listed. Saves having to download a file that may not be what you have. Lee1977 6,647 #9 Posted October 23, 2019 42" deck are bad to crack under the deck cutting height adjuster and rust holes in the deck there. This is the way I fixed mine. Added metal on each side bolted in place as I can't see to weld any more. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
