Sarthurs01 822 #1 Posted October 18, 2019 I found a plow for a decent price and wondering if it will fit a c81? Thanks
Guest 88vic #2 Posted October 18, 2019 Yes that plow should fit. Not sure what price youre paying, but a decent one can be had for $150-200. Sometimes cheaper ! Gotta keep your eyes peeled, they pop up every now and again. Dont forget to get the rear quick attachment bracket with it too if you dont already have one. peter lena 8,583 #6 Posted October 18, 2019 agree with wheelhorsefan , on the fitment of that plow, in addition to over all shape , check out wear bar area , at lower plow to ground point, as long as it has not worn into the actual plow blade lower edge , past the wear bar zone , you can always replace the bar, with new stock. another thing i would do on a used buy is to wet sand it down or just soak it down with penetrating oil. the oil will instantly stop the rust and retain the paint / patina . did that on a recent plow pick up. also went over a vitrifaction of movement sitting plow on milk crates , lubricating and washer enhancing all movement points . jmoo , pete
Sarthurs01 822 #7 Posted October 20, 2019 Made the trip and well worth it. Picked it up for $50 and found out he has another horse at a camp about 10 mins from my house!
