That’s awesome!

I often pack a small tool bag that I stuff with tools that that fits in my luggage when going on business travel and TSA always opens my bag and leaves me that same note.

My wife's sister flew home from Phoenix, for Christmas, several years ago and told her oldest son to pack his own luggage, while she packed the little one's suitcase.  Naturally the 10 - 12 year old neatly packed his luggage.  Yeah?  He just dumped it all in and zipped the case closed, with electronics scatter throughout his bag with wires running everywhere & through everything inside the case.  When his case went through the scanner the viewer yelled, BOMB! and left their station headed for the exit.  When the case came out the scanner, the SIL went over to it and calmly asked if that was the case with the bomb?  She was assured it was, to which she calmly unzipped the lid, opened the case and explained it was nothing but kids electronics mixed in with his clothes.

But she said, "If she could not pack his luggage, it would always be inspected after he packed it in the future."

And that reminds me of a time, long before TSA inspectors.  In the early 70's fresh out of college and working for a major university system.  We had collected some dairy milk samples which were in ice chests, packed in ice for the trip from Kansas City to LA.  The department head decided to make sure no one would open the ice chests, so he wrote 'Biological Samples' with a magic marker across both sides of each container.  No one bothered the chests......

but we nearly got kicked off our flight home!
