JoeM 7,871 #1 Posted October 15, 2019 I was installing an old plow on a spare machine the other day and was thinking of installing a front stabilizer. More like a prototype session. I've had this idea for a while and was accumulating some bits and pieces. I didn't have any tubing that fit snug enough on the 3/4 round bar pieces but did have some square stuff that fit pretty good. Though this together using an old support bar from a scrap mule drive and it works okay. About and inch of sway. Could be tighter with a snugger fit but is nice to take off just pop the mule drive release and it folds right up. I've seen other types of these and know they help take the stress off. 1

I was Just messing around with a different idea. Trying to keep everything mounted above the plow frame, no loose parts, and of course using stuff that was left over laying around.

That goes along with my new favorite quote I learned while visiting Thomas Edison’s lab last week in West Orange NJ 2
