peter lena 8,581 #12 Posted October 14, 2019 ever been in utah in winter ? or oregon ? , mail boxes on telephone poles are for real. we were in park city utah , just at the mountain base area , yards of snow ,at a time . went out to crater lake in oregon , in june , followed the , D9 cats plowing and pushing cat powered snow blowers to clear out the lake parking area. i would say an easy 40 ft of snow on the ground , like driving in a snow canyon . not for me , but we were really glad to see and experience it , pete

JCM 9,130 #15 Posted October 15, 2019 I never realized that we have a similar nest about 20' above the fire pit that day of the M & G this past September until my Daughter mentioned it, no wonder why all those bees were around me this past summer when stacking all that firewood.

JCM 9,130 #17 Posted October 15, 2019 I would love to be able to get that nest down in one piece and spray it with a clear poly and hang it in the camp out back. I do have a set of climbing spikes and a belt but might not be a good idea right now after the recent back surgery?

It'll cost you a meal. Or a Farmall Cub. 1
