peter lena 8,580 #2 Posted October 14, 2019 spindles are about 100 $ each , new , i would shop around on various sights , you might find some here on site , or amazon, e bay , etc, genuine toro parts are scary expensive , do not get turned off by that , they are out there. also plan on replacing the idler pulley , usually a great source of deck noise. replacing the spindles is not a big deal , removing the belt pulleys is the area you have to be very care full with . do not use a puller on them , you will ruin the pulleys . you have to equally pry them off , using the bolt heads under the pulleys with angle pry bars , along with penetrating oil. the bolt heads give you MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE to push up the pulley off the shaft. this just my own experience , others will chime in with feedback, good luck , pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If your housings haven't rotted beyond repair, replacing the ball bearings on all 3 spindles shouldn't cost much more than 30.00 and take half of an afternoon's work. I've never had a Cxx1 series but I'm sure they are the same. Try and find the model number on the deck shell and we can find you parts easily. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
