Recommended Posts

Have been looking through the manual section and can't seem to find the part number for my drive belt on my 414-8 .

 Anyone have it handy?

Thanx

Randy

Have tried to add the drive belts to the file description pages for the parts lists for each model. Not necessary to download anything. Click on the picture

I just received my belt today through the mail for my drive belt. I ordered a 7473 part number which is 5/8 x 82" long . It seems to be extremely a tight fit!  Could this belt be the wrong one I need to be a little bit longer perhaps ?

Are you sure it's installed right? I found this right after I bought a 312-8. It worked like that don't know how long the belt would have lasted.

Yes it was installed right. That would wear out a belt no time .  Without even putting it on the idler pulley it was tight  The number supposed to be a 7473  82 inches long but I'm thinking it should've been 82 1/2 to 82 and three-quarter .

Randy what brand of belt did you get? I've found that makes all the difference in the world. Shouldn't. But it can.
