TC10284 111 #1 Posted October 6, 2019 (edited) I have a 211-3 that when you let out on the clutch, the transmission pulley on top of the transmission is loud whether it is in gear or out of gear. Sounds like it needs some grease and/or has bad bearings. Is there a way to grease this? Does the transmission itself need oil or grease? I can't find a place to do that, if so. Also, the back left tire needs a tube. However, I the rim is rusted to the axle(shaft). I can't get it off with a rubber hammer. Can I use heat to remove it or is there a puller I can use? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,096 #2 Posted October 7, 2019 Here is a transmission parts list. Check the model number Service manual Are you sure an belt idler bearing has not failed? They are the first to go. You need to push the axle out of the rear wheel and that is an impossible task. If you pull on the wheel you will damage the transmission. What I do is tip the tractor up and remove the tire from the wheel while it is stuck on the axle. Not any different than working on a wheel on a tire changer other that the tilt.
