I don't know where the phrase originates from because it's been around longer than I have ... quite a while.

10-4, is basically equal to saying OKAY, or UNDERSTOOD, by a trucker. CB language.

OK  so what day is it anyway.  I heard sirens last Tuesday at 10:30am...so that was the 1st Tuesday of whatever month this is.  I think it is either Thursday of Friday.

Hey, I can read this without my glasses.  :occasion-xmas:  Emoji is the same size though.

I'm pretty sure it's Friday. I really do hope it's Friday because I'm NOT going to work tomorrow and I work Monday through Friday. If today is Thursday my employer could be a little irritated when I don't show up tomorrow. I hope it's Friday.

I may have you beat Eric  I’m sure I’ve seen it at least 50 times if not more. That and John Wayne’s Hellfighters are my two go to films when I’m stuck in the house with nothing better to do

I did wonder what OK-Day was about myself. But I get the 10-4. If you colonials wrote the date properly, OK-Day wouldn't exist. :hide:

It is now 05/10/2019. OK? :UK:

Stormin’, I’ll take that date because it would mean here in Wisconsin that we were in the early part of May and had the whole summer to look forward to instead of heading into the long winter months like we are. More of this...

Less of this...

but alas, we still live on this side of the pond where just yesterday it was early October.

10-4?

:D
