FAST 87 #1 Posted October 2, 2019 Wanting to know if this is a good tractor and what if anything I should be aware of as a weak link? It came with a snow thrower but I didn’t get the bar to raise and lower it, so I need to find one of those. I also really need a mower deck for it and perhaps a bagger. What should I be looking for that will fit this tractor? Thanks so much for any help you all are able to provide.

oldredrider 2,553 #11 Posted October 2, 2019 One of my junk yard dogs. Dang fine all season worker. If you want to use a bagger, you'll need to find a 42" or 48" side discharge mower deck. C-141 will swing either o e easily. 1

FAST 87 #13 Posted October 2, 2019 Thanks for all the input so far. What year or type of mower deck am I looking for? Will any wheelhorse deck work? Or only specific year or type? Sorry just don’t know enough about wheelhorse to know what attachments are universal to this particular tractor. Thanks for any help.

I for sure can make that but I’m not sure how that mounts to the tractor and then to the snowthrower. Any pics of how that mounts? I will check the thread that’s from and see if I can figure it out but if not pics would be great
FAST 87 #18 Posted October 2, 2019 Ok I checked the thread but all the pics are blurry and I didn’t see one of how this mounts to the tractor and then the blower. Anyone able to share some pics of how the rod attaches? All I have is the blower with it’s pin on it and then the arm you use on the tractor to raise and lower has nothing attached to it under the tractor. Hope this makes sense
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,366 #19 Posted October 3, 2019 Welcome to RedSquare. The C141 is a great machine...with that big 14 HP Kohler paired with the 8 speed transmission it should handle just about any job you need it to do. I can’t wait for the day my C141 is all back together and running again, but sometimes life gets in the way and projects get put on the back burner. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you may have, lots of great guys here who can help you out
c-series don 9,420 #20 Posted October 3, 2019 Any deck off a C,300,400,500 series will work. Except 37” side discharge and 60” deck.

FAST 87 #22 Posted October 3, 2019 I really want to add a front end loader and possible a backhoe to this tractor. Any input either good or bad from any here? I want to move some dirt and do some digging projects all around my property. And I want to move away from shovels and wheelbarrowing.
FAST 87 #23 Posted October 3, 2019 Also another question. How can I tell what year this thing is exactly? I know it’s either a 78 or 79 but I can’t find a place on the net to check the actual numbers to find a exact year. I would love to get a manual for it. I had a bronco 14 awhile back and had a manual for it and it was really helpful.
c-series don 9,420 #24 Posted October 3, 2019 If the number starts with an 8 it’s a 78, 9 it’s a 79.
