tviggiano 1 #1 Posted September 26, 2019 (edited) Hi folks. My 1989 520h tractor recently rolled down a hill and hit a rock. My two front wheels are now maligned. by inspection it looks like the front right (if looking at tractor head on) wheel spindle is now bent. It is part number 112764 on the schematic. But, this is a discontinued part number. I am searching ebay and I'm not getting any direct hits. I do get some hits on part number 112764-1 which I'm guessing is off a later model 520h b/c it looks a little different by sight. So.....question here is about compatibility. Does anyone know of any other comaptible part numbers that I can use to replace the spindles on the 1989 520h's? Thanks in advance. lynnmor 7,354 #6 Posted September 26, 2019 I have seen a change in the spindles that might account for the -1. The early ones had a smaller contact area for backing up the inner bearing. The spacer thickness changed as well. I think they will be interchangeable but maybe a change of spacer as well. That contact area wears on either one, so I made custom spacers to suit. DougC 2,641 #7 Posted September 26, 2019 I would simply straighten out the original one be it spindle or tie rod. It's a and a hammer situation. A tough old horse can take it. That being said. If you plan on trying to set the world speed record with it replace the bent suspention parts and balance all 4 wheels...
