Fabricated 42" SD, success!

Jim seen your thread on the fabricated deck and like it!

I've had an 11 ga top plate bent and sitting in the corner for a couple years. Going down the same road as you. 

I do have a question. Those aftermarket spindles working out okay? I like that idea cause they are readily available

I have about 4 hrs on the deck now... so far, no issues.

I did PUMP grease to the zerks till grease was oozing out both ends!

Deck runs smooth and quiet!

 When I got my C-125 about 7 - 8 yrs back, the deck was in a right state. The top was well rusted. I got some 2mm sheet steel. Made a cardboard template off the top and made a new top. Still ok, but I do remove and clean it after use. The outer edges are starting to go now.

 I've since found  38" in very good condition. I'm saving that for future use. Good decks are hard to find over here.
